Carrera with sails unfurled

An excellent result for X-Prozac, the yacht sponsored by Carrera, the sports brand produced and distributed by the Safilo Group, which came second at the recent World Ims at Capri.

The team from Sailing Planet, the company owned by yachtsmen Gabriele and Furio Benussi and Stefano Spangaro, is one of the most competitive in the circuit and it is preparing to take part in many national and international regattas with sun protection provided by the C8 model, one of the most innovative in the Carrera collection.

C8 is the result of careful research into protecting athletes from any kind of atmospheric conditions and it is characterized by excellent ventilation, thanks to the perforations on the outside of the polycarbonate lenses. The frames are wraparound and made in Grilamid, a plastic material that makes glasses crush-proof, strong and flexible. Adjustable temples and an ergonomic nose-piece in Megol thermoplastic, ensure perfect wearability.

As well as sailing, Carrera is also engaged in various other disciplines: from the World Motorbike Championships to Rugby, from the skiing World Cup to canoeing, with champions such as Max Biaggi, Loris Capirossi, Hermann Maier, Rainer Shoenfelder, Isolde Kostner, Safilo Petrarca Rugby and Antonio Rossi.
