Changes at the top in Ralph Lauren
The Ralph Lauren Group has announced the appointment of Jeffrey D. Morgan as president of the Product Licensing division. Previously, Morgan was chairman of the Ralph Lauren Media Group, and from 2000 to 2001 he was chairman and Ceo of Ralph Lauren Media Llc, a joint venture between Polo Ralph Lauren and the television network, Nbc.
Morgan shall be responsible for managing clothing and accessory licenses, including Chaps, Polo Jeans Co, Ralph Lauren perfumes and eyewear and he shall report directly to Roger Farah, chairman and Ceo of Ralph Lauren.
David Lauren shall be taking over the administration of the Group's marketing, advertising and corporate communication, in addition to being senior vice-chairman (since 2001) and director of the Company's e-commerce activities. Lauren, a former editor-in-chief and chairman of Swing, a publication addressed to a public of between 18 and 34 years of age, shall report directly to Ralph Lauren, director general and chairman, and to Roger Farah.
