EyeMed to support 'Check Yearly. See Clearly'

'Check Yearly. See Clearly' can be found in doctors' waiting rooms and dispensaries, in the media, online and in communities (i.e. schools, health fairs). Now, with the help of EyeMed Vision Care, a new supporter of the Check Yearly campaign, Check Yearly will soon be found in the workplaces of EyeMed members. EyeMed announced yesterday that it will use 'Check Yearly' as its vehicle to educate EyeMed members about the importance of regular eye exams.

EyeMed Vision Care, a part of the Luxottica Group family, serves over 40 million Americans through its managed vision care plan. EyeMed provides its members with a variety of resources to help ensure quality vision care.

To expand upon its current services, EyeMed will work with 'Check Yearly' to provide:
- a Check Yearly welcome package containing valuable information on vision health, including 'The Look Out for Your Family's Vision' brochure, which has top-line information on eye examinations to new enrollees;
- a consumer edition of 'The I Care Newsletter', a quarterly publication that will be supplied as a PDF via e-mail to plan administrators to disseminate to employees. The newsletter contains important information on caring for one's eye health and vision throughout the year (i.e. the importance of UV-protection for the eyes during the summer);
- 'Check Yearly Table Cards' for the workplace to have a constant reminder about the importance of regular eye exams.
