Fendi license goes to Marchon

Marchon Eyewear has obtained the worldwide license for Fendi's ophthalmic eyewear and sunglasses currently in the De Rigo portfolio for Europe.

Marchon has had the Fendi license for the United States and Canada since 1991, but starting from January 2005 the company will be the exclusive worldwide producer and distributor of Fendi eyewear.

Marchon's Chief Executive, Al Berg, pointed out: 'Fendi has been a real gem in our brand portfolio. From a creative point of view, Fendi has always been one of the favorite brands at Marchon's product design and development center at Puos D'Alpago in Italy. This is a fantastic opportunity for our talented teams that work on the brand'.
