John Galliano eyewear frozen

Following the insolvency of French licensee Airess, British designer John Galliano has decided to freeze the eyewear project, at least for the moment.

Airess produced the sunglasses and vision lines for the male and female market and the collection currently in stores will be the last.

'We've decided to freeze this license for the moment' a spokesperson for the fashion house told Milano Finanza Fashion. 'We will probably launch the eyewear again, but definitely not in the near future'.
