Lotto eyewear with Sover until 2007

Lotto eyewear with Sover until 2007

Lotto Sport Italia, the leading company for the production of clothing and footwear for sport, has renewed the licensing contract with Sover for the production of the vision and sunglasses collections until June 2007. The license will apply worldwide.

The relationship between Lotto Sport Italia and Sover began in 1999. Since then, total sales generated by this license have had a high growth rate and reached 2 million euros in 2003. In addition to eyewear, current Lotto Sport Italia licenses include packaging and underwear, and they account for 33% of total billings.
One of the reasons that convinced Lotto Sport Italia to renew the agreement with Sover, is the great synergy that has been created between the two companies, based on the alignment of Lotto's product and communication strategies.

The new collections presented at Mido 2004 featured the addition of performance lines with a strong technological content (lenses, materials, design), developed thanks to the support of the tennis stars, professionals in the Atp/Wta Tour circuits, and soccer players sponsored by Lotto, who made their own sports experience available to Sover technicians.

It was precisely the synergy between Ciro Ferrara, the Juventus player who has been associated for many years with Lotto and their soccer boots, and the Sover technicians that gave birth to Lotto's vision project, 'Performance'. Lotto eyewear in the Performance line is lightweight with construction and aesthetical details that are quite aggressive and streamlined, as the world of fashion demands, while maintaining an elegant look.

The active area is backed up by a collection of sunglasses which, thanks to Sover know-how, presents the market with a product with considerable technological plusses without ever failing to provide a strong fashion content.
