Missoni and Allison: color art for eyewear

A model from Missoni's spring-summer 2004 collection for womenMissoni, one of the most important Made in Italy brands, and Allison (It Holding Group) have signed a licensing agreement for the production and distribution of the new Missoni eyewear line.

The agreement, which is for five years renewable for another five, covers the development of Missoni vision and sunglasses collections for men and women and 60 models are due to be launched October 2004 at Silmo, Paris.

The Missoni world, elegant colors, harmonious contrasts and the sensuality of the materials, are interpreted by Allison in completely new and innovative models, the result of meticulous research into colors and the sophisticated transfer of the different shades to all the materials: injected acetate, aluminum and titanium for the lighter models. An interpretation that provides a perfect blend of tradition, creativity and innovation.

The partnership between Missoni, the symbol of creativity and tradition in Italian ready-to-wear, and Allison, which boasts consolidated experience in the production and distribution of eyewear for big names in Italian and international ready-to-wear (Gianfranco Ferré, Romeo Gigli, Extè, Anna Sui, John Richmond, Vivienne Westwood, Les Copains, Cerruti 1881), will lead to the presentation of a product that is completely new on the eyewear market.

The eyewear launch will be backed up by powerful international communication.
