New Timberland Eyewear collection

New Timberland Eyewear collection

On the occasion of Vision Expo East, which took place from March 26 through 28 in New York, Marcolin presented Timberland's new sunglasses and ophthalmic frames collections.

The license agreement signed with the company known throughout the world as a leader in the clothing, footwear and leisure equipment sectors, was announced in October 2003. For the next 4 years, the Marcolin Group will be responsible for the strategy, design, production and worldwide distribution of the new lines.

The result of the collaboration between Marcolin and Timberland is a collection inspired by the values that have always characterized the brand of the tree in a circle: love and respect for nature, integrity and excellent attention to product detail.

The new models are divided by line (Heritage Classic, Heritage Modern, Metro Casual and Metro Trend) and aim at meeting the needs and aspirations of a variety of Timberland consumers.

Especially for the occasion, the Timberland stand also displayed 10 pairs of 'Celebrity Boots', the classic yellow Timberland boots reinterpreted by some of the most internationally famous artists to celebrate the 30th year from the launch of the famous boots.

As well as an exercise in style for sculptors, painters, stylists and designers from all over the world, the Celebrity Boot Collection is first and foremost an important initiative of solidarity: the boots have in fact been auctioned in support of the 'Stop Aids at birth' project by Cesvi.

Marcolin SpA bought the 10 pairs of boots displayed on the Timberland stand at Vision Expo East, and the sum was allocated to the Cesvi, Cooperazione e Sviluppo Onlus association in support of this initiative.
