Oakley has announced plans for a flagship company owned O Store located in the Covent Garden area of London. This latest addition to the company's expanding retail presence is scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2005 on King Street and will be owned and operated by Oakley's wholly owned subsidiary, Oakley U.K. Ltd.
Armed with the widest, most comprehensive inventory of Oakley innovations, the O Store offers a full selection of the company's sunglasses and expanding lines of prescription eyewear frames, premium performance footwear, apparel, accessories and watches.
'London has been one of our top target markets for an O Store and the location we have found in the Covent Garden area is the perfect place to showcase our international brand', commented Oakley Chief Operating Officer Link Newcomb. And added: 'Our international O Store philosophy is to find locations in areas with a youth sports/lifestyle focus and fashion forward thinking'.
