Revo flying on Everest with Angelo D'Arrigo
On April 19 Angelo D'Arrigo, the man known throughout the world for having traveled by hang-glider to indicate the eagles' migration route across the Sahara and the Siberian cranes' route from the Arctic Circle to Iran, has set off on an extraordinary adventure.
To guide a pair of Himalayan eagles along their migratory route from Tibet to Nepal where they are extinct, he will fly over Everest in a hang-glider. It will be the highest and longest free light in history and D'Arrigo will be followed by a team of aeronautical engineers, scientists and ornithologists, athletic trainers and Revo eyewear, the brand from the Luxottica Group.
Thanks to their wraparound and protective shape, Revo eyewear has always been synonymous with top quality, maximum performance and perfect vision, properties that have been tested in the most extreme environmental and climatic conditions by Angelo d'Arrigo himself. He has chosen to wear them during his adventurous expeditions to the limits of the impossible.
Of the various glasses available, for the Everest exhibition, in particular D'Arrigo will wear model RE 2016 301S/65 with 12-layer stealth lenses, the very highest in performance offered by Lms (Light Management System, a technology developed from a special Nasa project for the portholes of space shuttles and which guarantees perfect vision and maximum protection for the sun's rays), and a polarizing filter that guarantees the maximum protection possible and extremely high quality.
Angelo d'Arrigo is also one of the protagonists in the Revo international communication campaign in the press and at outlets; the image used is from one of Angelo's expeditions to Mount Everest.
