Training courses launched at Mido Education
More than 400 opticians-optometrists from across the world met at the Mido Education pavilion, which hosted 54 courses that were organized by Mido in team with prominent trade associations and leading Ecm providers from Italy and other countries. This new initiative has reconfirmed Mido's leading role which also becomes an authoritative promoter of high-level training for the trade.
'We decided to focus on training', stated Mido President Cirillo Marcolin, 'because we believe that Mido is well-prepared to offer this kind of service. Opticians need to be updated regularly about what is going on in the industry and the exhibition can be the best opportunity to combine business with training'.
The many topics were divided into four subject areas - optics, optometry, marketing, contactology - to cater to everybody's needs: for example, solar protection, eyesight development, the technical-scientific features of eyesight problems and their correction, sales techniques, legal and tax regulations.
'Whenever you try something new, you don't know if it will work', continued the president, 'But our credibility and prestige, and the expertise and professionalism of our partners, managed to convince the trade people'.
The dates have already been set for next year, from 6 to 8 May, for an even busier and information-packed program.
