Usa: 6th Ophthalmic Symposium successfully completed

Leybold Optics has sponsored and organized the sixth ophthalmic symposium in cooperation with other industry leaders in Morrisville, NC-Usa, from May 12-13, 2004.

The participants from independent Rx labs were informed about the latest developments in Rx lens manufacture, particularly 'Processes of Polycarbonate and High Index Materials'.

Papers from Leybold Optics, LOH Optikmaschinen, Nanofilm, NGL Cleaning Technology, Optimal Technologies, SDC, Signet Armorlite, Transitions and Umicore Materials have highlighted all phases of state-of-the-art technology for Rx lab technologies.

It was the 6th symposium of its kind that was successfully organized in the US and Europe. The next European symposium will take place in Spain in October 2004.
