Armani renews English soccer team wardrobe

The new look created by Giorgio Armani for the English soccer team tour of friendly matches in the United Sates is casual and smart.

For the official wardrobe, the Italian stylist has prepared: two-button jacket in dark blue wool crepe, trousers with no darts, no necktie and a white shirt with a large collar or a white cotton T-shirt to wear with a navy blue round neck sweater. The final touches will be provided by the accessories which include shoes and glasses.

Given the nature of the tour, the look is more casual than the one the Italian stylist designed for the British team. 'These talented young players have a positive approach to soccer and their game is modern and smooth', Giorgio Armani said in a note. 'Swen-Goran Eriksson encourages them to play boldly so the wardrobe for their summer tour in the United Sates reflects their game philosophy'.
