Bulgari to open boutique for accessories only
According to Milano Finanza Fashion, Bulgari is fine-tuning a new project for a monobrand store dedicated to luxury accessories. The new format boutique, which should open at the start of 2006, will sell only accessories and not watches and jewelry. Specifically, bags and small leather articles, belts, neckties, foulards, eyewear (produced by Luxottica) and perfumes.
This format should be applied to freestanding outlets (including malls, particularly in the Far East and the United States), and also to shops-in-shops and corners in department stores, such as the ground floor at Selfridges in London, the Room of Luxury at Harrods, the first floor dedicated to luxury labels at Printemps in Paris, or the accessories department at the Galeries Lafayette.
