Eschenbach Optik of America receives Sam Walters Memorial Award

Vca and its Low Vision Division have presented Eschenbach Optik of America with the 2005 Sam Walters Memorial Award for its contributions to the low vision industry.

The award is presented annually to a member of the low vision community who has demonstrated outstanding creativity and innovation in the design, manufacture or delivery of low vision devices. The Sam Walters Award serves as a memorial to it namesake who was a pioneer in serving the low vision industry.

'Eschenbach Optik has helped to dramatically increase the availability of low vision rehabilitation services through marketing and product design', said Ron Delong, Vca's Low Vision Division chair.
