Esprit Spring/Summer 2006 Collection

Esprit eyewear's license partner Charmant introduces its 2006 Spring/Summer collection of sunglasses, consisting of 24 new models. Recent design trends in sunwear are reflected in the large, voluminous forms of the new models, offering new designs inspired by Esprit's originality for the coming season.

The trend for oversized frames remains strong in the feminine styles. A large, voluminous front matched with shield lenses and reflective tins in the frame color characterize the ET9850 model. ET9854 and ET9855 also have a high, curved fashionable front design, with round or butterfly lens shapes. Colors for the lenses range from a solid dark gray or brown to graded tints.

A strong accent in the collection is provided by two animal-patterned acetate models. Snake, leopard, or zebra patterns on either the inside or outside of the arms are combined with frames that come in colors such as pink, brown or black. A basic tortoiseshell-pattern is also available, and two designs, one with large, square-shaped lenses (ET9857), and one with smaller, round lenses (ET9858), are available.

In the metallic collection for urban wear, ET17608 gives the wearer a unique profile with its second pair of side lenses and open arm design to create new look, while the design of ET17610 creates a geometric effect.

The masculine ET9853 model has a simple, double-bridged front structure, which gives off a more mature look. A unique acetate material used in the design creates the effect of a window blind, and offers a contrast of shade and light. Colors for the model come in gray, tortoise or dark purple with texture.

Esprit offers the classic aviator design with a touch of originality. An authentic classical front design is combined with acetate temples set off with colored lines and mirrored lenses to ensure the ET17612 style stays up-to-date.
