Excellent results for Vidivici Occhiali at Mido 2005
The 35th edition of Mido has recently ended and for VidiVici Occhiali the results were highly satisfactory. Orders increased by 60% compared to Silmo and by 100% compared to Mido 2004, and success continues for the house brand, Exalt Cycle, the result of refined and high-frequency stylistic innovation and perfect communication choices, now distributed in over 50 countries worldwide.
Good news from the distribution sector with the acquisition of new distributors in countries where VidiVici had only one presence, and in retail: Argentina (Exalt Cycle); Czech Republic (Exalt Cycle/Mila Schön); Mexico (Exalt Cycle); Taiwan and possible expansion into China (Exalt Cycle/Mila Schön); Romania (Exalt Cycle/Mila Schön/Blasco) and Latvia (Exalt Cycle).
The Area Trend stand, personalized in the white, red and black corporate colors and crowded with clients, reporters and VIP guests (Edoardo Costa, Max Bertolani, Stefano Tacconi, Jimmy Ghione, Massimo Caputi, Cesare Cremonini and Ballo, Giulio Golia, Diego Conte and Michele Pirro) was the venue for the presentation of all the latest sun and vision collections currently on sale and the large number of new items launched for the first time at Mido.
The lines that aroused greatest interest were the completely new vision collection from Mila Schön eyewear, which has been completely restyled; a vision collection with great appeal thanks to the skilful combination of refined shapes and precious details such as multi-color Swarosky crystals.
Great success also for the first Billionaire Eyes collection by VidiVici. Extremely fashionable and exclusive diva-style sunglasses take their name from the most famous venue in Porto Cervo, a fashion and in-fashion club owned by Flavio Briatore, and the high-society meeting place for VIPs from Italy and abroad on holiday on the Costa Smeralda. For the mid-June opening, VIPs from Italy and abroad who are guests at the Dinner Club will receive Billionaire glasses from Flavio Briatore.
Confirmation also for the second collection, Il Blasco, dedicated to and interpreted by testimonial Vasco Rossi, this year also in vision versions. Vasco Rossi will be the undisputed protagonist of stage and magazine covers this year, too, when the second part of his 'Buoni o Cattivi Tour 2005', starting June 7, will go to 10 Italian cities in the north and south which were not included in the previous tour.
Lastly, the very new Cigar Colours Sun, the mounted glasses in the cigar-shaped case available with prescription or plain lenses, a clever invention by VidiVici in the new, trend summer colors; four new amazing colors: Sky Blue, Lime Green, Pearl White and Shocking Pink, with top-quality, slightly mirrored polycarbonate lenses and UVA protection.
