Eye'DC: new collection for Autumn-Winter

Eye'DC: new collection for Autumn-Winter

For Autumn-Winter 2005/2006, Eye'DC is giving free rein to its imagination with a varied collection in which colours, forms and textures mix and match and overlap in freestyle.

This collection with its balanced proportions and remarkable tones is the fruit of a coolly eccentric eye focused firmly on a future full of technological promise. The colours are no longer external decoration, but are now an integral and independent part of the frame's design.

Patch
Following a stainless steel version, here is an ultra-light, flexible, mixed, two-tone take on this Eye'DC classic. The suspended, bevelled acetate circles, combined with end-tips, slip subtly into a wraparound stainless steel frame. Delicately oval, softly square or quietly cat, the front flirts with the colours of the circles and vice versa. Dazzling, transparent or streaked, the colour contrasts leap off the frames. Choose from orange/tortoiseshell, chocolate/beige mother-of-pearl, khaki/fuchsia and silver/petrol blue.

Gazelle
After several years of absence, drilled lenses are back in the new collection. With its alternative shapes and colours, this model combines elegance with fantasy and futuristic design. The blend of curved stainless steel and screw-free drilled lenses in an openwork frame creates airy, graceful and slender glasses. Available in two versions with wide lugs and temples mounted on the top or the bottom of the frame in original, flamboyant metallic colours: violet, apple green, orange or black and white checks. A more discreet variation along the lines of the previous models is also available. This frame has a soldered nosepiece and slim lugs that melt into the temples. Available with square or oval lenses and in sober or bright metallic colours.

Paradox
This frame is a perfect example of the thought that has gone into using materials to create a brand new aesthetic experience. The combination of Nxt (the new unbreakable material, trademark of Intercast Europe), and acetate produces curves and lines of unique finesse and resistance in one and the same frame. The Nxt front is fixed to and suspended from the top front bar cut into the volume. With its 'flex' temples, curved bar and flat front, this frame sports an avant-garde design at the cutting edge of technology. Available in two shapes and translucent colours.
