International TV campaign for Vogue eyewear

International TV campaign for Vogue eyewear

The new TV campaign dedicated to Vogue sunglasses and ophthalmic glasses will be broadcast in Spain, Greece, Portugal and other European countries. The commercial was produced by Alto Verbano for the Luxottica Group, and created by Adart Milan.

The spot mirrors Vogue's philosophy which inspired the creation of fresh, young and colorful glasses. The images in Alto Verbano's production convey the brand's dynamism and a glamorous atmosphere, thanks also to the contribution of New York director Rebecca Blake who specializes in 'fashion and beauty' treatments. The locations were the Hotel Gallia and the Teatro Ferrante Apporti, both in Milan.

The result is a particularly refined production. In the spot, the protagonist of the campaign, the model Sasha Gnotova, looks elegant but casual as she appears from the revolving doors of a classical-style building. She decides to wear her Vogue sunglasses and, as if by magic, everything goes dark: the model then appears on the runway at a haute couture fashion show lit up by the unrelenting flashing of the cameras. To a background of enthralling readapted music she starts out on the runway and with every 'cut' her glasses change. The performance lasts until Sasha removes her Vogues and suddenly everything returns to normality. She is again on the street, ready to attract the attention of a fascinating model (played by Cristian Perico) sitting in an open air café. The story ends with an intense exchange of glances and subtle interaction (she removes her silk foulard and puts it in the man's pochette) and the superimposed 'Vogue eyewear' logo.
