Eye-catching and admired. This year, too, the Marcolin Group will capture the attention of thousands of visitors and guests at Mido 2005, the main international fair dedicated to the world of eyewear.

An area of over 700 square meters is the elegant and original setting for an eyewear universe that meets many tastes, from classical to fashion and on to the world of sport. Modern design, original materials and attractive colors have always been the basic ingredients of the Marcolin collections and here they are combined in the new models, next season's objects of desire.

New this year are the two exclusive 'coming soon' corners which set the mood for the new and extraordinary collections that will be presented at Silmo in October.

Highly awaited by the public and trade alike is the new Just Cavalli Eyewear line, for which an exclusive licensing agreement was signed last December.

Suspense and mystery also surround the Tom Ford brand which joined the Marcolin portfolio only a few weeks ago and promises that it will soon please and amaze the most demanding customers.

Equally evocative and original atmospheres provide the backdrop for masterpieces created by the best-known international fashion houses.

The typical landscape of Tuscany, with its wide open spaces, farmhouses and bright colors is the scene for the Roberto Cavalli Eyewear collection and pays tribute to the origins of a stylist who has created sensual and refined fashion. Nature and style meet to evoke unique sensations and guide the visitor in an exciting journey through fairytale locations.

The look is classical at the Montblanc Eyewear stand and features the star brand's ever-popular white/black contrast. A precise and immediate style hosts new products from one of the most famous luxury brands in the world, a reference point in elegance because of its careful selection of materials and scrupulous attention to detail.

A return to a contemporary style for the new Costume National Eyewear, Miss Sixty Glasses and Replay Eyes collections whose captivating proposals are always avant-garde. The eyewear collection by stylist Ennio Capasa aims at a refined public; Miss Sixty is full of young spirit, personality and color; Replay's look is extremely casual and impact is assured.

The journey continues with the Dolce&Gabbana Eyewear and D&G Dolce & Gabbana Eyewear collections. Plasma screens will project visitors into the world of exclusive and glamorous fashion shows that are both intriguing and appealing. A modern dimension to extol the design of glasses that have always been trend-setters and target an aware and demanding public.

Natural surroundings are also the setting for the Timberland Eyewear collection. Its all-wood stand calls to mind the pleasures of life in the open air, freedom and a love of genuine things that are perfectly embodied in the eyewear line.

Dynamism, passion and action is the scene for the latest creations by sports brands Cébé and The North Face Eyequipment. Quality and technology combine with extreme search for the most exclusive and attractive designs. The ideal solutions for sports lovers who also want a winning, invincible look.

The bar area has also changed and its chic, modern style is in line with the high standards of the Group's entire exhibit. In a welcoming and relaxing lounge guests will be put at their ease with a drink or the refined specialties offered by illy.

New collections, special, expertly designed settings, loads of new ideas and exclusive previews await visitors to the Marcolin Group stand at Fiera di Milano from May 6 through 9.
