New managing director for Schulz

Ulrike Hagelschuer has been named Managing Director of Schulz, a company recently acquired by Indo. Schulz, a German company specializing in the manufacture and distribution of ophthalmic lenses, operates on the German and Danish markets.

Hagelschuer, 37, has extensive experience in the area of ophthalmic optics, acquired during the 21 years she has been working in the industry.

With a staff of more than 90 people, Schulz recorded a turnover of approximately € 5.6 million in 2004. The company's plans for the future include growth and strengthening the presence of its ophthalmic lenses on the German and Danish markets.
