Nico Design Collections

In the run up to the disclosure of the new collections to be launched at Mido (Pav. 16/II - Stand A21-27/B26-30), Nico Design presented the top models in the Vanni and Derapage lines for fall-winter 2005 at the Watt Cinque showroom in Milan.

They included the Derapage model, Spoiler, where the manufacturing technique is the same as the method used for the spoilers on racing cars of the Sixties and Seventies. The stability of ophthalmic or sunglasses lenses is ensured by the structure, a manually perforated laminate with a special tool that allows the steel to be 'burned'.

The lens is 'suspended' to guarantee maximum lightness as well as maximum shock resistance. A special acetate cover over the screws in the temples prevents screw movement and slackening.
