Nico-Design conquers USA and Far East

Nico-design isbetting on the growth of two key markets, the Far East and the United States of America. As chief executive Giovanni Vitaloni explained to Affari & Finanza 'if the Far East basin is destined to grow and provide high margins, the stars and stripes area, which already gives us 30% of our total billings, can guarantee a good return on image'.

Nico has in fact signed an agreement with a partner in California, thanks to which Vanni and Derapage eyewear will be distributed to 200 stores by end 2006. As far as the Far East is concerned, at the next Ioft in Tokyo, Nico will present the technological innovation called 'push-up': by means of micro air chambers, it allows frames to be adapted to oriental face shapes.
