Nike launches contact lenses
According to an Ansa note, soccer players in the top division of the English championship will be wearing the new MaxSight contact lenses which Nike has developed with Bausch & Lomb to protect the eyes of athletes in various disciplines from the sun's dangerous rays.
Experiments will continue for seven years, but they have already been tried out by tennis player Roger Federer and golfer Justin Leonard. The lenses will be available in red, yellow and amber, and in a graduated version.
