Optical Middle East becomes Vision-X

Vision-X 2006, Dubai's optics and ophthalmology fair organized by the Dubai World Trade Centre, will be held from February 12 through 14, 2006, at the ultramodern Dubai International Exhibition Centre.

Previously known as Optical Middle East, starting from the next edition the fair will be held annually.

The last event (2004) attracted around 2,500 visitors, mainly from the Middle East area, who had the chance to assess the products of 116 exhibitors (6 of whom were Italian). Foreign exhibitors were from Saudi Arabia, Australia, Austria, China, France, Germany, Jordan, Great Britain, India, Italy, Korea, Kuwait, Luxembourg, Holland and Singapore.

The exhibitor profile covers frames in general, prescription glasses and sunglasses, lenses, accessories, optics equipment in general, optic and ophthalmic articles and products, surgical instruments, software applications and trade press.
