Pelletterie 1907 re-launches Nazareno Gabrielli
Since last March Pelletterie 1907, the new owner of Nazareno Gabrielli, has been working on the re-launch of the brand at national and international level and is preparing new lines of leather products to recoup market spaces that have been lost.
'We are working', Sauro Ramazzotti, General Manager of the company, explained to Corriere Adriatico, 'on the preparation of our products. We are currently working on behalf of Moschino and Pollini for the production of women's bags. But we are also envisaging to bring products with the Nazereno Gabrielli label back to the market. We are working on restyling the historical lines of Gabrielli's women's bags. We are preparing the orders for September so that we'll be ready for the fall-winter 2005-2006 season. Obviously, Gabrielli's other historical products, like wallets and other items in the same line, won't get left behind'.
The new company's programs include Nazareno Gabrielli stores and foreign markets. 'We have signed franchising contracts with the owners of stores that once belonged to the company. By next year our objectives will include opening a store of our own in Milan. As to foreign markets, we are taking a close look at Europe and the rest of the world. We aim to have 70% of our billings coming from abroad and the remaining 30% from Italy. Our key targets are the US market, Russia and China, even though the critical economic situation is certainly not encouraging. I am also envisaging the possibility of collaborating with producers of eyewear, perfumes and similar products'.
