Positive first half for Indo
Indo increased sales by 10% during the first six months of 2005. Its highly successful sales of sunglasses and frames (+7.3%) and the overwhelming response to the Carolina Herrera, Acb and 212 collections were instrumental in achieving these results.
The development of Indo's international business in the field of ophthalmic lenses was also fundamental, with significant rises recorded in countries such as France (+13%), Germany (+231%), Italy (+14%) and Portugal (+28%).
The equipment business line also showed a clear improvement, with an 11% increase in sales compared with the same period last year.
