Second day at Mido: more guests and start of courses

On Saturday, the second day of Mido, once again many stars and testimonials were at the stands. It was also the start of the Mido Education courses, confirmed this year as a highly important moment for the great many opticians who have enrolled.

There were crowds at the Marcolin stand, where stylist Roberto Cavalli was the guest; the company has recently renewed the license with the stylist and the agreement has been extended to include the Just Cavalli line.

Moreover, at the L'Amy stand in the morning were Francesca Cavallin and Brando Giorni, the protagonists in the Canale 5 soap, 'Vivere', and testimonials for the Lacoste brand, in addition to Jessica Polsky, protagonist of 'Camera Café' with fiancé Michel Altieri.

Taking place at the Sover stand were the pre-selections for Donnavventura 2005, the event that will again see participants wearing Alviero Martini eyewear.

Then it was the turn of Milan soccer player Andrea Pirlo who signed autographs for fans at the Galileo stand, the team's official suppliers starting this year.


The 2005 testimonial for Barberini Plz1.8 lenses, gliding champion Riccardo Brigliadori, stayed almost all day at the company's stand where he talked about his sport experiences and the importance of being able to wear top-quality sunglasses when gliding.

There were many guests also at the VidiVici stand, the ex goalkeeper Stefano Tacconi, 'Striscia la Notizia' reporter Jimmy Ghione, 'Quelli che il calcio' sports journalist Massimo Caputi, who chose Exalt Cycle model Extra to protect his eyes, and lastly Cesare Cremonini and the faithful 'Ballo', whose new disc is due to come out by the middle of June.

Andrea Dovizioso, world champion of the 125 cc class last year and racing this year in the 250 cc class, visited the Celes Optical stand; he is the testimonial for the North Sails Eyewear brand.

Back
