Spy Optic presents Espada with photochromic lenses in Nxt

New from Spy Optic for summer 2005 is Espada, the latest addition to Scoop, the sports collection.

Made in feather-light and strong Grilamid, it has polycarbonate base 9 lenses (100% protection from UV rays) with Accurate Radius Curvature (ARC) optical correction for perfect eye coverage, peripheral protection and comfort during intense sports and even during everyday activities.

Product performance is also guaranteed by temple end-pieces in Hytrel rubber (perfect fit and hold even during very active sports) and by the exclusive Scoop technology which, thanks to the aeration system on the temples, considerably reduces lens misting to give greater comfort.

Absolutely new to the sports market is this model's (Black Fade Frame version) use of photochromic lenses in Nxt (a registered trademark of Intercast Europe which holds the exclusive rights); the choice of this amazingly shock resistant material with superior optical quality lies in its photochromic capacity (much higher compared to traditional photochromic lenses); 80% of its darkening capacity reacts to UV rays in 30 seconds.
