Sweet Years expands and looks at new products

Mauro Russo, Chief Executive of Sweet Years, the Italian casual-fashion brand worn by soccer players Paolo Maldini and Christian Vieri, spoke about the brand's important growth.

In addition to Italy, Sweet Years is currently distributed in the Netherlands and Spain for the European market, the development in all countries of the Old Continent is envisaged within the next two years, and negotiations are already underway for Japan, Russia and Greece.

Apart from the launch of the jeanswear lines, the beach fashion, the first fragrances and the collection of bags, the brand is also aiming at other product sectors: in 2005 another important co-operation is due to begin and will lead to product and distribution development for eyewear and shoes, produced with partners who will closely share the brand's product-oriented values.

Meanwhile, Sweet Years has recently begun an important commercial partnership with Peugeot Italy: current tv and print advertising refers to the new 206 sports model called Sweet Years.
