VidiVici: previews at Mido 2005
Again this year, VidiVici will be among the protagonists in the Trend area at Mido with a 160 square meter exhibit (Pav. 16/II - Stand B23-C16), at which it will present many new additions to the sunglasses and vision ranges.
For 2005, the leading line, Exalt Cycle, is launching a Sole Exalt Cycle Glamour collection consisting of 15 completely new models, each in 4 color variations, and a completely new design. A variety of shapes, different sizes and multiple curves. Some models are round, others are glasant; all have prestigious lenses from top producers. Some are in nylon, which guarantees long life and comfort. Other models have several lenses with different, perfectly-cut curves thanks to laser technology, which creates particularly appealing plays of color.Standing out for originality in the Race line is Pascià, made in Lyx with dual temples and solar filters decorated with personalized graphics.
The Exalt Cycle 2005 vision collection has many different shapes, materials, decorations and colors that range from solid to transparent, from shaded to milky, from caramelized to pearly and on to iridescent. 14 new models with unusual names: exjosh, exgianfri, excalibur, extreme, exsonny, exchiara, exbono, expaolo, tito clip on, exfunny, explash, exgulp, exking, exqueen: lightweight, original and versatile, they all come in four brilliant colors. And there are new colors for the new entries in VidiVici's most fashionable best-sellers: exotic, exaggeretor and exmanu.
The second Mila Schön eyewear sun collection to be produced by VidiVici has 12 new sunglasses models in metal and plastic, some of these models present rhinestone decorations on the frames or lenses. The acetate sheets were selected with special care from among the very latest new colors proposed by top producers. The vision collection, presented for the first time at Mido, has been completely renewed: 14 new models will be presented in a wide variety of shapes and sizes. Variety also in the choice of top-quality materials: some models are entirely in metal with acetate sheet end-pieces; others have front pieces in acetate sheet and end-pieces in metal; some are made completely in acetate sheet in the latest fashionable colors. A special feature of the new collection is a more visible logo: a small bas-relief metal M engraved within a circle and produced from a mold in various polished and opaque colors-on-colors which are highly effective. Some models in the new collection have been embellished with precious Swarosky crystals in many new colors and sprinkled like little stars on temples and front-pieces, or used to enhance the round edge of the logo.
The first Billionaire Eyes sunglasses collection by VidiVici has 4 models, each in two colors and with lenses with different curves, toric and base 8. As precious and exclusive as the choice of the materials, Billionaire Eyes glasses use nickel-free metal for the front-pieces and reptile-look leather for the temples. The 'Billionaire' logo stands out on the temples.
The huge success of the first eyewear collection, which was immediately loved by all Vasco's fans, is followed by the Il Blasco 2005 collection. The new sunglasses proposed for 2005 come in three different models, Kappa1, Kappa2 and Kappa3, each with five color variations. They are all wraparound, aggressive, but not to excess, offer perfect fit, excellent wearability and suit any type of face; their polycarbonate toric lenses come from top Italian producers. The jewel of the collection are the exclusive 'Albachiara lenses' on models Kappa2 and Kappa3: thanks to an original mirroring treatment they have been able to reproduce in italics the first verses of one of the loveliest songs in the history of Italian music, 'respiri piano per non far rumore ti addormenti di sera ti risvegli con sole, sei chiara come un'alba, sei fresca come l'aria…' (you breathe slowly so as not to make a sound, you fall asleep at night and wake with the sun, you're as clear as the dawn, as fresh as the air…'). Also making its official entry at Mido 2005 is the first vision collection created together with Vasco Rossi. The mini-collection, which will be joined later by more models, has a single and well defined concept with two different eye shapes: one is higher and one is lower to guarantee the model's maximum versatility. Both are Lyx-injected, feather-light and come in 5 satin-finish and polished, shaded and solid colors; the large and wide temples join the squared-off front piece in a play of empty/full spaces. The V for Vasco and VidiVici, symbol of the brand, stands out between the different thickness of the temples.
Lastly, Cigar Colours Sun by VidiVici, the complete glasses in the cigar-shaped case for summer months, have been extended to include four new caramelized colors (Sky Blue, Lime Green, Pearl White and Shocking Pink), they have polycarbonate lenses with a top-quality slight mirroring effect and UVA protection. Presented for the very first time at Mido 2005, they will be on sale at authorized outlets in a few months' time.
