And just as an exclusive garment deserves the best 'fabric', a 'made-to-measure' lens requires the best raw materials: optical glass, an essential component for excellent vision quality and to ensure that lenses last and do not deform.
Top products include the polarized and ultra-slim Plz1.8, a concentrate of technology and performance in a thickness of just 1.8 mm: 100% UV protection, 99.99% efficient capturing of polarized light, infrared reduction and elimination of part of the blue light, anti-glare and oil-repellent coating, in an unlimited range of fashionable colors. A lens that has passed the most difficult tests, that has been taken up to heights of 4,000 meters by glider multi-champion Riccardo Brigliadori, to give him absolutely precise vision at the limits of perfection, even in the most difficult light conditions and during long flight times.
Polarized lenses, which represent 80% of Barberini's production, also come in the photochromic version H2F, perfect for rapid changes from very bright light to shade.
