Beauty and Philanthropy in the Sama World

Beauty and Philanthropy in the Sama World

Tom Cruise will wear Sama eyewear in Mission Impossible 3With over 20 years experience in the industry, Sheila Vance launched the Sama collection in 1998. Since that time, Vance has launched multiple other collections including Kenta - eyewear designed exclusively for men, Line3 and GO - two concept collections with an emphasis on technology and the future, and in 2005 alone has launched the Loree Rodkin Eye Couture collection - jewelry for the face inspired by the renown jeweler to Hollywood's elite. This year Sama launches the Badgley Mischka by Sama collection - a line that is truly in a league of its own, as it fuses the visions of renown couture designers, Mark Badgley and James Mischka and that of Sheila Vance.

Her collections are distributed in over 35 countries and are sought after by Hollywood's elite, stylists, key political figures and royalty. Vance's designs can be seen on the faces of virtually every important celebrity both on and off screen.

In addition to her gorgeous eyewear collections, Vance has always had an eye towards helping those in need and donates a portion of the net-sales of the Sama collection to the Sam Vance Foundation, devoted to assisting young adults and teens with narcotic dependencies. She has been honored for her philanthropic endeavors repeatedly, having been named "Woman of the Year" by Friendly House, and a notable "Crusader" by Interview Magazine.

Her collections are distributed by the world's best opticians and boutiques in Milan, Amsterdam, Hollywood, Beverly Hills, and St. Louis and other fine retailers.
