Briko and the Liquigas Pro Cycling Team on Luxembourg roads

Stefano Garzelli, winner of the Tour of Italy in 2000 and ace athlete in the Liquigas Team, heads off from Luxembourg in search of new wins after his victory in Frankfurt before the 2006 Tour. Garzelli will in fact captain the Liquigas formation in the Tour du Luxembourg from May 31 through June 4.

The cyclist from Varese returns to racing after his win in Frankfurt at the Rund um der Henninger - Turm. In the Tour du Luxembourg, the members of the Liquigas team are Stefano Garzelli, Michael Albasini, Magnus Backstedt (returning after a disastrous fall during the season's debut in the Majorca Challenge), Eros Capecchi, Kjell Carlstrom, Alberto Curtolo and Roman Kreuziger.
