Carrera on podium with Jorge Lorenzo and Mika Kallio

New remarkable victories for the Safilo Group at the 8th trial for the Dutch Motorcycle Grand Prix 2006 in Assen last week-end.

In the 250cc, Carrera testimonial Jorge Lorenzo was ahead throughout the race, which took him to the top step of the podium where he wore his Carrera glasses. This is the Spanish rider's fifth win of the season and, with 133 points, he is now in second place in the general classification for his category.

Finnish rider Mika Kallio, also a Carrera testimonial, won the 125cc race at the Dutch MotoGP. After this second win of the season, he is now in second place in his category with 113 points.

Both riders wear Flag 1 sunglasses from the Carrera collection.
