Charmant International Design Competition at Mido 2006

Charmant will announce and exhibit in their booth, their prize-winning works (one grand prize and one semi-grand prize) won at Charmant International Design Competition for eyeglasses that they planned, at the Mido (Fiera Milano, Milan, Italy) between May 5 and May 8.

The appointed juror was Mr. Naoto Fukusawa, the enfant cheri of the design industry who is involved in a wide range of activities. 771 entries were received from 46 countries, and 160 entries were reviewed by the juror.

The theme was to seek for the forms of 'the glasses for who can not do without them'. The designs had to be the ones that give you 'the lightness of wearing nothing', 'the strength that doesn't bother your consciousness', 'the small size that occupies the least space of your face' and 'the feeling of wearing nothing even if you are wearing them'.

The award presenting ceremony is scheduled for 16:00 on May 5 at Charmant booth (Pav. 15/I - C11).
