First victory for Briko in Tour of Italy

First victory for Briko in the Tour of Italy came yesterday with Franco Pellizotti, ace athlete on the Liquigas Pro Cycling Team.

Pellizotti beat the Russian Efimkin by a short head at the arrival in Termoli. Britain's Wegelius classified 19th and Danilo Di Luca came 26th.

In the general classification, Pellizotti rose to 4th place at 2'05' to take the lead from Ivan Basso. Di Luca is 7th place at 2'48' and Andrea Noè is 11th at 3'45'.

Briko takes part in the Tour not only as a sponsor of the Team, but also as official supplier of Briko's Endure Pro racing glasses.
