Mido 2006: world-level focus on sector

A press conference will be held in the Sala Bolaffio (Timpano Pavilion 16) on Friday, May 5, to mark the opening of the 36th Mido, the International Optics, Optometry and Ophthalmology Exhibition.

For the first time, data on the sector's trend worldwide will be made public. With Federica Panicucci acting as moderator, the press conference will include a debate on the strategic factors that have led to the success of eyewear throughout the world: design, fashion and innovation.

Also speaking will be Cirillo Marcolin, president of Mido, Marco Fortis, vice president of the Edison Foundation, Debra Forstenzer, Edit Product Development and Marketing, and Gianluca Giordano, Director IED research center.
