Mido Kids and Sports, a sensory experience.

Every year Mido explores new display strategies for Mido Sports and Mido Kids product ranges, which were successfully launched in 2004 and 2005, respectively.

After the large 'eye' with a central pupil that collected special sports lenses and spectacles in 2004, when the exhibition was interwoven with the exhibitions of young athletes and Kataklò shows, 2005 witnessed holograms reproducing leading eyewear products displayed in the Kids and Sports areas.

This year instead both sports and children's sectors are located in a single area designed to offer an olfactory experience enhanced by visual features. As you draw close to the link between pavilions 15 and 14, you are surrounded by fragrances, which recall eyewear designed both for children and sports: from chocolate to the fragrance of talcum powder, the scent of freshly mowed grass in a field and sea breeze. Cascades of light envelope it all enhancing the suggestive sight of spectacles, lenses, masks, helmets and cases displayed on clear Plexiglas cylinders.
