Mido: see you in 2007 at Rho-Pero complex

Last day of the 36th Edition of Mido, for the last time hosted by the Fieramilanocity pavilions. From 2007, the exhibition will be staged in the pavilions of the Rho-Pero complex on the city outskirts. This modern and futuristic location has good potential, starting with more space for visitors and exhibitors as well as a huge number of services. It has good connections to the city through an extensive public transportation network and a 24-hour taxi service. The new facility is linked in a modern and efficient way, in order to streamline the flow of people during international exhibitions.

This change is generating a great deal of expectations and Mido has decided to give even more importance to this by setting up an ad hoc area at Mido in the gallery connector between Pavilions 16 and 15: an entire space dedicated to the new location with a view to illustrating the exhibition grounds to exhibitors and visitors and to offer an exclusive presentation of its strengths and services.

The flooring in the gallery connector has been customized with a floorplan of the new complex that you can walk on, while in the corner there will be a scale model of the Rho-Pero fairgrounds along with screens showing scenes of the new exhibition venue. And anyone who may be interested in finding out more, can use the earphones for information about the new area. Instead, if you prefer talking to somebody face to face, no problem: the area will be staffed with 7 hostesses providing information in 6 languages: Italian, French, German, English, Spanish and Chinese, which is a testament to the growing international reach of the exhibition.

After 36 years, Mido will 'have a new home'! It will be a long wait until 2007 for everybody -- exhibitors, visitors, trade people and journalists - and we're sure to see them turn up next year loaded with enthusiasm and full of original and innovative ideas.
