New international top managers for Transitions Optical

Transitions Optical, the leader for photochromic lens technology, continues its international growth and entrusts its development to a new managerial structure.

On July 1, Brett Craig became the new Chief Operating Officer (COO) for Transitions. In this new role, Craig will be responsible for the global strategic development of marketing, commercial and production activities and will ensure that they are consistent with the main business objectives and their implementation.

Brett Craig joined Transitions in 1999 as General Manager in charge of Asia Pacific markets. He then worked on the EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa) market, where he played a key role in further developing sales in this area.

Previously, he held various managerial posts in the paint segment of chemical group PPG. Brett Craig has a BS in Economics from Wisconsin University and an MBA from the Cox School of Business - Southern Methodist University.

Transition's new General Manager for the EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa) market is Todd White, who for several years was head of the glass fiber sector at PPG Industries in North and South America.

Todd White's leadership, combined with his past experience in the ophthalmic sector as General Manager for optic monomers, are definite strong points in this new role. He joined the PPG group in 1990 and has covered various roles in marketing and sales with increasing responsibility. White went to Westminster College and he has an MBA from Duquesne University.
