Partnership between Thai Optical Group and Transitions Optical

Transitions Optical has signed a partnership agreement with Bangkok (Thailand) company Thai Optical Group, which will allow the producers of optical products to offer the range of Transitions lenses to a wider market.

Thanks to the partnership, Thai Optical Group will offer Transitions lenses in standard 1.50 index materials and in other hi-tech materials, including 1.60 and 1.67, as well as high-impact Trivex developed by Ppg under the Excelite Tvx label. The lenses will be available during the third quarter of this year.

'Thanks to worldwide distribution by Thai Optical, a larger number of consumers will have easier access to automatic UV and glare protection, in addition to better vision quality and greater vision comfort'.
