Rudy Project official supplier to Fjällräven Polar
Rudy Project will again be the official supplier of glasses for all the participants in the latest winter sleddog adventure due to take place April 2 through 5 on the Scandinavian peninsula.
The 10th edition of Fjällräven Polar has nine laps and goes from Signaldalen on the Arctic coast to the Icehotel at Jukkasjärvi. The men and women in the twelve national teams will be using sleds pulled by 'Alaskan Malamute' dogs.
Rudy Project will supply the technical sunglasses from three different lines, Kalyos, Ekynox Sx and Rydon, which all have ImpactX photochromic lenses with unique characteristics. Made in Nxt, the polyurethane material from an optic polymer family patented by Intercast Europe, they are transparent, shatterproof and guarantee excellent optical quality, lightness and durability.
Thanks to latest-generation photochromic and polarizing technology, these lenses offer superior vision clarity in all weather conditions, images are sharper and more defined, the rainbow effect is limited and vision comfort is greater.
This year, Rudy Project tested the lenses at temperatures ranging from -40° at Fjällräven and +40° at the Australian Open, to guarantee comfort and protection for anyone who wants to take advantage of the technology offered by ImpactX lenses.
