Significant triathlon victory for Rudy Project

Significant triathlon victory for Rudy Project

Rudy Project has picked up another significant victory in the triathlon.

For the third year running, Chris McCormack triumphed in the impressive Quelle Challange competition held at Roth (Germany) July 2.

Swimming, followed by cycling and then running is an incredible feat which required considerable effort even by the Australian champion who is sponsored throughout 2006 by Rudy Project.

'Of the three editions, this is the one that has given me the greatest satisfaction' McCormack said, 'winning the most important competition in the world for three times… makes me really happy'.

Wearing glasses and helmets from the Rudy Project collection, Chris McCormack brilliantly completed the tough course that included 2.4 miles of swimming, 112 miles cycling and 26.2 miles running, and he crossed the finishing line in 8:00:52. For his equipment, the triathlon champ chose Rydon glasses with photochromic ImpactX lenses made in Nxt, perfect for lengthy competitions because they adapt automatically to changes in light intensity.

Also chosen was the Syton chronometer helmet with its streamlined shape that improves air penetration and at the same time offers high standards of safety.
