1st Bushnell Golf Cup 2007
Success for the first edition of the Bushnell Golf Cup held May 12 at the Le Fronde Golf Club in Avigliana. Over 150 participants, including non-members of the 'Le Fronde' Club, and a special guest: the great Piero Gros, the star of Italy's golden skiing period and now a highly esteemed TV commentator and excellent golfer.
Helped by a beautiful sunny day, the players competed on the prestigious 18-hole Stableford course at Avigliana until late afternoon and brought the day to a perfect end with the last competition on the putting green.
A day of informal entertainment during which the participants were able to try out the unique performance of the Pinseeker rangefinder that aims at the flag and excludes any obstacles around it: an invaluable ally for players of all levels which is now also allowed in competition matches.
As with all competitions, the results and the award ceremony were anxiously awaited: Bushnell Italia General Manager Marco Ribaldone (who had swapped his jacket and tie for a polo shirt and golfing shoes especially for the occasion) and Course Manager Gaetano Nicastro distributed the many prizes, which included much appreciated Serengeti and Bollé sunglasses, the Bushnell rangefinders and digital equipment, Nike Golf clubs and accessories and a fantastic weekend in the mountains with I Grandi Viaggi.
But let's not forget the real star of the day and the one that had the idea for this highly successful 1st Bushnell Golf Cup: the Bushnell brand.
