Bausch & Lomb: Special Flight Pack

Aimed at increasing anti-terrorism security checks at airports, the European authorities have introduced new international rules concering the items passengers can take on board all domestic and international flights from member States.

Since last November, EU passengers have not been allowed to carry more than 100 ml of liquids in their carry-on baggage.

Bausch & Lomb realizes that the new rules have created problems for contact lens wearers and especially those who travel frequently; in some cases, they have had to leave the liquids with the airport authorities at the security checkpoint.

To prevent these problems and allow its patients to travel in safety, Bausch & Lomb has created a Special Flight Pack which contains everything a contact lens wearer needs during a flight.

The pack can be bought at outlets taking part in the initiative and contains two 60-ml bottles of ReNu Multiplus solution, 2 lens cases and a regulation zip-top transparent bag.

To protect its patients even more, Bausch & Lomb has included in its handy pack a booklet with useful information about the correct use of contact lenses. A reminder that eye health is important, even during air travel.
