Bollé and Piero Gros on the green for solidarity

When people take part in sport for solidarity, everyone's a winner and this is the spirit of a true champion. Well aware of this is Piero Gros, the star of the golden period of Italy's skiing team, now a well-known sports commentator, passionate golfer and for many years the testimonial for Bollé's famous sun and outdoor eyewear Serengeti and Bushnell. Without doubt they chose him for his successes in sport and, just as importantly, for his personality and humanity. And on Saturday, June 23, they will be with Piero on the green for an important solidarity mission at the prestigious 'Le Fronde' Golf Club of Avigliana (Turin), which hosted the Prima Golf Cup Bushnell last May 12.

The Piero Gros - Fondazione Forma Golf Cup is the result of a collaboration with PieroAbruzzese, president of the non-profit Forma Foundation, which was created to support the cardiology department at the Regina Margherita children's hospital in Turin and which Piero Gros has been supporting for some time. The Golf Cup's noble objective is to raise funds to buy a neuronavigator, also thanks to part of the green fees.

As technical suppliers for the event, Bollé and Serengeti wanted to support their testimonial and friend on this project. The winners of the special 'Nearest to the Pin' awards will take home Serengeti and Bollé glasses. At the end of the competition, there will also be a prize draw for Bollé models and they will include glasses from the new KidSport collection for one of the Regina Margherita's young patients.
