Carrera takes part in penultimate stage of 'cuore d'atleta'

The summer is near and 'Cuore d'Atleta' is also ready to go on vacation and shine the spotlight on the window of unique objects and extraordinary situations. This week, the sportiest auction on the web is preparing to offer the twelfth lot of very special prizes.

Antonio Rossi and Luca BicciatiFrom Tuesday, June 5 to Tuesday, June 12, the twelfth online lot offers 10 prizes for eBay.it users: for all Antonio Rossi's fans, a pair of Carrera glasses signed by the world champion canoeist in Italy's team at the Sidney Olympic Games in 2000 and silver medalist at the Athens Olympics in 2004.

Although they are collectors items, the mechanism for taking part in the auction remains the same: just logon to eBay.it, enter the charity area, click on 'Cuore d'Atleta' and bid at the fixed starting price of € 1.00.

The funds collected by the 2007 edition of 'Cuore d'Atleta' will be used to build a sports area at the association's new headquarters: L'Officina dei Giovani, an open space for listening and meeting in the heart of Milan and dedicated to the city's young people.

The auction is supported by exceptional partners, the major sports federations and leagues (football, rugby, fencing, cycling, women's volleyball, baseball, softball,...) and enjoys the invaluable collaboration of Radio 105, which has always been close to the association.

For sports enthusiasts, 'Cuore d'Atleta' has become a great opportunity to follow their favorites more closely and to perform an act of solidarity.

Also on auction are places for the team that will challenge Elio, Faso and Ares Milano Baseball, Alberto Cisolla's and Stefan Hubnert's Sisley Treviso jerseys, the Bikkembergs ball signed by Fabrizio Ravanelli, and the Fred Mello cap and T-shirt signed by Luca Toni.
