Eyewear Collection 2007 for Ferré
The metal and acetate combinations of the eyewear models in the new collection are expressed in the most classical and consolidated colors - from black and tobacco to blue and ivory - but there is never a lack of extravagance in gold and palladium, or fashionable colors, like purple and dark green.
The unmistakable signs of Ferré's identity stand out on this horizon of calm and restraint, on the square shapes with their soft, round corners. First, the monogram, a decorative feature, as well as a structural detail that joins lenses and stems, for example in the rimless models. Or the series of Swarovski crystals or rhinestone that run along the stems, front pieces and hinges until they are mounted in the metallic monograms. Even the components create appeal and originality: the stems reveal their inner 'soul' , which becomes décor, while the threads of nylon that support the lenses and fork stems hint at extraordinary lightness.
The injected model is the winner of the sunglasses proposals, at times 'imprisoned' in metallic structures that support the lenses in nylon. In other cases, the front pieces have polarizing, a jour lenses to offer superior visual quality. The monogram, in shiny metal, recurs systematically, engraved in circles and squares, framed by strass. It can even be screwed directly onto the lenses, for example in the model with striking square shapes. Harmony and sophistication are guaranteed by the color pattern, which ranges from black and white to tobacco and blue.
