Great results for Carrera Petrarca Rugby for 2006/2007 season

Il Carrera Petrarca Rugby, the team that the Safilo Group has supported for the fourth year running, ended a season studded with important successes and took the Carrera brand to the semifinal.

After the May 5 victory against Benetton Treviso, Carrera started dreaming about the final, but the hope of winning the cup vanished on May 12, despite the enthusiatic support of its fans and the team's huge determination.

The team was very close to winning the cup and the position it achieved - fourth in the Super 10 final classification - will act as a spur for next year.

But more than the brilliant results which brought it a stone's throw from the cup, the real reason for Safilo's pride is knowing that it supports a great team and shares the sports and training project that not only makes Carrera Petrarca Padova a great rugby team, but also an institution for young people and for the entire city of Padua.
